Commercial Business that I want to make
My name is Oktri, study at Gunadarma University Depok. I'm in the last semester, hopefully I will graduate this year (yeaaayy).
Actually I am not only a grandstudent, I am also an employee in a Pharmaceutical Company in Jakarta.
I've been woorking in this company since November last year. Previously, I worked at also a Pharmaceutical Company as well over than 7 years.
Since graduate of Diploma of Informatic Management from Gunadarma University, I started apllying Jobs. Lots of inverviews and psychotests have been through until I got my first job.
Almost 2 years experience at the fisrt company then I decided to find new opportunities in other company.
With recomendation from my colleague I finally hired in a Multinational company at Sudirman, Jakarta. it's a really good place to work.
Then I tried to out from my comfort zone by applying job in other company. Then I now work in this Company since November last year.
If I count, I already have more than 10 years experience working as an employee.
I sometimes thinking to resign from my current job and starting business.
But my questions then are What kind of business, when should I start, Where, and how will I run this business...
I believe those questions should be arise everytimes We want to start a business.
Then I tried to answer those questions to myself.
What kind of business should I run?
I think I should start a business which related to my passion or hobby.
There are two things that I passionate a lot currently, they are traveling and cooking.
For Traveling, I can have a Tour Agent. My experiences traveling around Indonesia should be help me If I choose to have business in traveling.
Based on survey, a lo of people will traveling frequently and regularly at least once a year to refresh and relaxing from their daily acttivities.
I'm sure business in this field will give a good profit.
But if I choose to have business culinary, I can open a mini cafe or coffee shop. A cozy place to eat and relax.
Urban people nowadays need a place where they can be relax, having fun, but keep productive in one place.
I'm thinking a concept a mini cafe where poeple can relax with good atmosphere, and there will be some rooms with semi official concept to people who wants to have a meeting with their colleague outside office.
And off course I will cook delicious meals to support it. I think I will shoose this one.
Next question is when and where will I run the business.
To start a business off course I need capital money.
I hanve to collect money from my monthly salary and from my year end bonus performance.
If I think it's enough, I will start the buisness, not later than next year.
Jakarta or Bandung is a good place to start business, especially Jakarta. This City is never sleep.
People who live in Jakarta is very busy. They need something praktist.
the last question is How will I run the business.
As I mentioned before, If my money already collected, I will submit my resignation letter.
I have to involved in my business, and I have to hired some people to help help me run the business.
Hopefully This will come true, I can be a businesswoman instead of an employee. SO I can have income not only monthly and have flexible time.
